What HTR provide:
Attendance On-Site for Preliminary planning (Site Survey) Meeting
HTR will arrange on-site meeting with client's representative to discuss works to be undertaken, environmental surveys required and agree on plant, access and attachment requirements.
Attendance at (Initial) Infrastructure Pre-possession Planning Meetings
A HTR representative will attend Network Rail Infrastructure pre-possession planning meetings to ensure clients requirements regarding on track plant can be fully satisfied.
Pre-works Planning and Management
HTR will examine client method statement(s) and scope of works and will
compile the necessary documentation for the operation / management of the
required On Track Plant (OTP).
A dedicated HTR project team will be appointed for the planned works.
HTR will assist with the general and logistical planning and arrange the supply
of suitable machinery and attachments.
Undertaking / Mobilisation of Works
HTR's Railway Safety Case representative will be on-site throughout OTP
working activities, together with associated safety personnel.
Provision of Labour
Supply of relevant personnel for the control and operation of OTP.
Post Works Review
HTR can where agreed ascertain client satisfaction and provide feedback and
attend post works client meeting(s).
Homegrown Timber (Rail) Limited are flexible and prepared to move swiftly to
deal with emergencies when required.
What HTR require:
- Copy of client's insurances - (Employers)
- Copy of any Network Rail Accreditation (if applicable)
- Details of Link-up approved categories and copies of any Link-up certificates
- Details of company registered office and registration number
- Copy of ISO 9000 / 14000 certificate (if applicable)
- Competence certificates for client's key personnel e.g. Chartered Engineer Certification
- Names and contact details of client's personnel
- Possession application/s details
- Copy of clients Work Methodology and Work Instructions /Method Statement and any associated Task Briefings, Risk Assessments, Tool Box Talks to facilitate the Production of a Work Package Plan by HTR
- Work Package Plan/ Risk Assessment / Lifting Plans produced by HTR to be read in conjunction with clients own Method Statement
- Copy of any Network Rail approved final Work Package Plan or method statement duly signed by Network Rail representative
To include:

Worksite / Possession Management
- Undertaking / Mobilisation of Works
- Provision of Railway Safety Case Manager
Where the possession requirements are only for 1 number RRV Machine, the Railway Safety Case manager will also act as the Machine / Crane Controller. This will be charged at the RSC Mgr. Rate.
Provision of OTP and attachments
- Post Works Review
Review - Submit a written report of the Possession activities to client if
required.
Report - Attend clients meeting for debriefing if arranged.
