We provide a wide range of heavy duty and specialised site clearance equipment that ensures projects, whether large or small, can be completed on time. We work with the majority of developers, groundwork & demolition contractors and civil engineers.
We have Mulchers able to turn hectares of scrubland into areas ready for construction projects in a matter of hours, 360 excavators with harvesting heads capable of felling a tree, removing the branches and cutting to a specified length in a matter of seconds and whole tree chippers that can turn a mature tree into woodchip (that can be used as renewable energy source) within a few minutes as well as the capability to not just grind down stumps but remove them and chip them. As a very experienced contractor, we provide professional Arboriculture, tree pruning and tree removal services, together with, bracing, air spading and planting. All our works are undertaken in accordance with British Standard 3998 Recommendations for Tree Work.

We specialise in the control and eradication of invasive weeds and plants including Giant Hogweed, Ragwort, Floating Pennywort, Himalayan Balsam, Japanese Knotweed (our speciality), Skunk Cabbage and Rhododendron.
These weeds and plants are increasingly becoming a nuisance and many people and organisations do not understand the law surrounding their removal and disposal. We are experts at in this field and we use our expertise to decide the best method of control including herbicide treatment, manual pulling and removal by mechanical means, depending on the type of weed / plant and its situation.
HTG can advise on the best method of eradication, arrange the licences and make the necessary arrangements for Landfill Tax (LFT) exemptions. The Company is BASIS registered and all operatives using herbicides are NPTC PA1 and PA6 qualified.
