Homegrown Timber are always looking to bolster our supply chain, establishing new relationships with arboriculture and fencing organisations that hold the same values as we do. We want to build collaborative, long-term relationships with suppliers to enhance the services we supply to our clients. Below is a list of competencies and capabilities we expect on-site operatives to hold and maintain whilst working for Homegrown Timber (This is not an exhaustive list).
General competencies required for operatives working on our projects:
Speak, read and write English
Driving Licence
Manual Handling
Emergency First Aid at Work
Industry certification
CSCS – Minimum for all non-rail works
CPCS – Minimum for any plant operatives
SSSTS / SMSTS – Minimum for any supervisory role
COSS / SWL - Minimum for any supervisory role for rail works
PTS – Minimum for all rail works
Arboricultural certification
NPTC - CS30.1 / 30.2, CS31 (201, 202, 203) – groundwork operatives
LISS - For all arboricultural work within the construction environment
NPTC – CS38 - CS41 – Climbers/Aerial Rescue
PA1/PA6 – Spraying operatives
